A word from the manager
Thank you for signing up to become a member of the AFC family, your support is very much appreciated.
We refer to ourselves as Warsaw’s international football club and our goal is fairly simple - to provide football for all in Poland’s capital city and your support will help us to do just that.
All board members, coaching staff, the social media team and everyone connected with the club are volunteers. The players currently pay to play. We’d love to change that in time, and to grow the club through these memberships, through fund-raising events, and through sponsorships and partnerships with local organisations and businesses, but it all takes time. The membership is another step in the right direction in terms of growing the club. As with our performances on the pitch, the membership offering will grow and improve over time, and we’re thankful you’ve chosen to get involved at this early stage.
The 25/26 season will be the club’s fourth season. In upcoming newsletters you’ll be able to read about previous seasons, but in brief, we’ve finished 7th, 5th, and 4th in our attempts to finally win promotion from Klasa B into Klasa A. With hard work on the training ground and with the support of our new members and the wider AFC Community, we hope we can improve our league position once again, and challenge for promotion this season (we missed out on promotion by two points last year in the end).
The campaign kicks off on the weekend of August 16th/17th, and you’ll be able to watch the game on YouTube thanks to our fancy new live-streaming camera. We hope you’ll tune in to games when you can, follow us on the various social media platforms, and share in a successful season for AFC Warszawa.
